History

The Association was founded as an association on 8 April 2003 and currently has 73 members.

Introduction

The Association of Police Chiefs of Slovenia is a professional, voluntary, independent, non-profit and non-political organisation. The Association brings together police leaders from all over the country who are committed to developing the profession, strengthening leadership skills and promoting excellence in policing.

We at the Association of Police Chiefs of Slovenia are committed to the continuous development of police leadership.

Our main goals include:

    Cooperation with foreign experts in the field of association activities and with foreign related associations and organisations.

    Cooperation with state authorities, organisations and other institutions that are professionally or academically active in the field of law and administration, as well as with organisations that are professionally or academically active in the field of management and leadership,
  • Staying informed and future-ready
    Monitoring and informing members about new findings in the field of managing administrative organisations.
  • Protecting Members’ Rights and Interests
    Support of members and representation of members in the enforcement of their professional rights and interests (protection of members).
